Mohamed brings a wide range of professional experience in optimizing processes using lean, data visualization, operational modeling and discrete event simulation in Healthcare and Manufacturing sector.
Mohamed utilizes the data driven approach to enhance the process improvement initiatives in conjunction with the facility planning. He strategically applies Industrial engineering and Design thinking tools across complex projects providing quantifiable business value. Prior joining NBBJ, Mohamed worked as a Research Project Associate for a medical center undertaking projects including re-layout of laboratories, improving flow of material and reducing staff footprint. He has also worked as a Project Trainee with the world’s largest construction equipment manufacturer assisting team with operational and lean six sigma initiatives. Mohamed earned his Master’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from SUNY Binghamton University and his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University.
